This week I was so moved to read about the Yayoi pottery because of the way they were made. It was not only fascinating but attractive to judging by the time period when they were made. According to the historical data found in Japan Yayoi period was the Iron age when earthenware pottery was developed which lead to the creation of Yayoi pottery. The main features of that period like agriculture and social structure all got reflected through these earthenware potteries.
